Kia ora, my name is Marcia, and I have been in love with macrame and making beautiful things as a macrame artist in for almost 9 years now.
We called the business Composed Confusion, it is an inside joke to describe the way I live my life - in composed confusion. I thought it was funny, so it's stuck. And it's a great reminder that in any creative pursuit you will have moments of confusion and chaos to work through, and that chaos can be beautiful too.

Before covid, you would have found me most weekends at Auckland markets. Lockdowns put an end to markets for me but also gave me the push I needed to start stocking cotton as a supplier.
I had a deep desire to make a recycled product easily available to NZ, and also as a maker myself I wanted to bring you cord/rope of a fantastic quality, great colours and lovely to work with.

I have hand picked, and am happy to say - I believe - the cord we stock is the best of the bunch... or the Bee's Knees!
